Looking At 993 Cab

Expert advise needed here. My current ride is an '85 Carrera (198K miles - tranny work coming). I'm thinking of adding a 993 Cab to the stable. A big part of my P-car enjoyment is doing major service myself (engine removal, clutch changes, etc). I do not have great mech. skills, but I like to know how stuff works. Will it be possible for someone such as me to perfrom this kind of service on the 993?

Thanks!

Ron
