Need a measurement on the fan

Hi,

I posted earlier, but my actual question was buried in the text. If someone has a vernier caliper handy, I need to know how far the face of the fan sticks out from the fan ring.

Thanks for any help.

Hope this helps ... all arrows in the attached picture are flush with each other.

That helps a lot. Essentially the face of the fan is flush with the outer rim of the housing.

Thanks

Different fan housings are machined (cast) for different amperage alternators. This affects your dimension question.

Be aware.

Best,
Grady
