Stock CIS pump which is a high flow.

The filter is fed from pump. The Racor low psi 2 micron filter has a water collection area at bottom and an option for a water alarm. The filter feeds carb1. The over sized 5# gauge has a psi dampener.

The front of carb1 feeds carb2 in the rear loop.. in front of other pic.

The Holley reg is at end of loop. The reg is fed from the 2nd carb and is adjusted before the connected return.

Sweet! Thanks

Hot Rod shops and boat outlets contain some pretty cool stuff. Overkill is good when you take the "big rides" that Ron does...Ron, can you explain more about the Holley "reg"...how it works, why?

the CIS fuel pump is a high psi pump.. the regulator controls the psi in the carb feed, which is behind the regulator in this system. The oversized 5psi gauge allows much more accurate psi settings for 2 reasons. It's only 5psi, not 15psi.. the needle is far from the end 20% of the gauge which is more accurate in deveation. The gauge psi dampner prevents the gauge needle from slamming around damaging the accuracy.

There is a fuel psi gauge sender coupling adapter that is on the left of the pic that comes from the filter for a dash psi gauge... Things can go wrong with regulators and filters. And a fuel pump may be adequate for idle and hand reving the throttle, but may not perform when under higher engine operating fuel volume.

So, a good way to diagnose any fuel problems while on the road? Also...care to elaborate about your method of mounting all this stuff? Guys, I'll confess to knowing Ron. Trust me on this, he doesn't take on projects lightly. When he does, it's with a lot of planning thought before he ever turns a wrench.
