turbo drain???

i want to make a new set of headers and place the turbo in the factory location(goin on a 3.2 carrera) i can fab up a small tank to drain the oil into but is there a way to scavange the oil out of it im not familiar with the 930 oil setup since there are none in my area to look at im trying to avoid cracking open the motor so what are my options??or should i juat gravity feed it on a side mount setup just dont like how short the run is on those setups.
thanks

The 930 uses a scavenge pump that is driven off the left side CAM.
You'll need that "extra spiggot" on your CAM to drive the pump.

Yes, you'll likely need to run 930 CAM or modify your CAM to have that drive spiggot.

The scavenge pump is located at the end of the CAM towards front of the car, so you don't have to change the chain housing cover. The oil line goes from bottom of the drip tank towards the front of the car where the pump is.

This is the 930 cam-mounted pump. It pulls from the rectangular sump tank that is bolted to the turbo, visible in the second picture. Sorry about the poor picture quality - hands were shaking with excitement.

Alternately, you could use an electric fluid transfer pump as made by Flojet and other companies. However, the mechanical pump is probably more reliable; not having to rely on a constant source of electricity.
