Stuttgart police - Serving and protecting in style
 

These photos came from a friend of a friend who, though luck or just good fortune, befriended Fritz the Stuttgart cop who happily took the friend and his collegue for a tour around town in this snappy cruiser. This cruiser is the 1,000,000 Porsche built and offered gratttis to Stuttgart's finest. While in general use for several years, this beauty has been replaced by a fleet of Mercedes C class sedans. The colors aren't my favorite but what cop car has admirable colors anyway.

A vast majority of European countries have left-hand drive cars and drive on the right side of the road.

Only people on British influenced islands drive on the left side of the road. Europe, NA, SA all drive on the right.

Nice looking car, but I still don't think I'd like to see him in my rear view mirror chasing me...

The guy pictured was treated to a 200 KPH tour around Stuttgart (that's moving, I think). The 911 has a Tiptronic and 6 speed. Not much room in the back for the bad guys but this is Germany where the bad guys pull over and do what they're told. Or so they say. And this'd be a lousy K9 car.
