Best Orange County paint shop?

Need to get my car in for a respray - any thoughts on some of the better shops in the area? I thought I'd heard of Dashels (or something like that) in Orange, but I can't seem to find them in the search.

I searched Yahoo Yellow Pages and came up with this:

Deshler's Collision Repair
1133 W. Taft Ave.
Orange, CA 92865
714-998-9256

I don't know them and am not endorsing them, just trying to help.

You sound like this is just a drop-off-and-pic-up-the-car thing. Why do you need a respray? Didn't you pick a clean FL car about a year ago? A good respray is gonna run some bucks. If you're thinking of adding a different front/rear bumper, splitter, Euro front lenses, this is the time to do it.

I would also roll the fenders now (if they already haven't been). You never know when you might have the urge to put some serious rubber under it. Why possibly crack the paint later.

Not sure fender need rolling on these. I run 285's in my rear and they don't rub.

Hey guys... I drove the 993 to Colorado over New Years and got sandblasted on the highway from gravel put down after a snow storm. I made a comprehensive claim to respray the entire car. I have RS splitters, clear signals, 993 TT ducts and RS sideskirts all ready to be mounted during the paint. I believe the respray is around $6500 which includes a new windshield, new headlights, lenses, ect.

You could always show up tomorrow morning at the OCR/PCA breakfast meeting, there's plenty of people there who would know the best place in OC to get the re-spray. You might even meet someone with connections.
We usually get between 75 and 100 porsches there, some are extremely nice cars. it isn't unusual to have 2 or 3 RUFs, a couple of 73 RS cars, etc.

It's at hofs hut in tustin, on 17th street 1/2 block east of the 55 fwy.
Breakfast starts at 9 am, the crowd shows up just after 8 and walks around checking out the cars and BSing. You don't even have to stay for food if you don't want, look at it as a free Porsche car show
No, you don't have to be a member to join us. Everyone's welcome.

Hey Sam... that's a great suggestion, but can't make it out tomorrow. I think I'll try Pristine in HB. Thanks for the suggestion.

BTW, I called Dashels. They can't even get to it now, and when they can, it will take 2 months. Yikes!

You also may want to consider Quality Craft Auto Body in Huntington Beach. That is who we used to use when I worked at Andial a few years back and there work was absolutely top notch.

Rob Lesser was the owner back than, not sure if he has still has the business or if he has sold it off. You can call Pete at Andial (714.957.3900) and verify that this is who they are still using.

Might be worth an inquiry just to get a 2nd estimate. I know they are located off of Talbert between Beach and Gothard.
