Do I need to bleed the brakes
77 911- I had to replace a plastic fitting on top of my master cylinder. It is the fitting that attaches to a 6 inch hose coming off where the brake fluid is added. Do I need to bleed the brakes?
Thanks, David |

No, you have not induced air in the sytem. It's wise to bleed the system at least once a year or more depending on your driving style though...

Nope. You shouldn't have let any air into the system replacing that piece. If you start getting stuttering or spongy brakes though, you might want to go ahead and do it as a matter of policy.
