Starting problems
If I drive the car, then park and go to start it a few hours later, it won't start right away. I have to try 4-5 times. Then when it does start it sounds like a lawnmower (putput-putput) for a few seconds.
If it has been sitting for a while or a few minutes it starts instantly. So it seems to have problems when it is just warm, not hot and not cold. Any ideas? Ed |
- fuel pump check valve

I second what Ron said.

Is there anything I can check before I get the tester?

if it immediately starts then it's the check valve or accumulator. Get the gauges anyway for the next time. |
Sorry, I am new at 911s and this is my first attempt at working on one. can you please explain where the air sensor plate is? Do I do this procedure when the car is acting up?
Thanks |
