Need 3.6 Conversion Help - A/C
 

The 3.6 is in my 81SC and running great. Now for the A/C.

With the 3.6 I need to use a later compressor than I had for the SC so i bought one off of a '93 RS America along with the needed fittings. I plan on converting to R132.

Hers's the question - What else do I need to get the A/C back up and running?

I know I should replace the Drier, do I need a different one or can I just buy a new one from Pelican for the 81 SC.

What else is involved?


I know nothing about A/C systems - You probably figured that out.

Replace the expansion valve and ALL the orings. The hoses are your call. Also you're changing to R-134 not R-132
