Question cv joints different thickness

just recieved new rear axles w/cv joints .installed passenger side found out bolts were hitting on other side of flange when tightened new cvs are1&1/4 thick old cvs are 1&1/2thick what do you think send back axles ,or get shorter bolts .I bought them from pelican never have had a problem that couldnt be solved by them before. great forum the car is a 1977 911s with 2.7 all engine upgrades including 74 exhaust have been done

I had the same problem on my '75 years ago. I cut the bolts to fit and replaced them with shorter ones a few years later. They worked fine.
