Nice paint, what color is it? Original? My car will be going in for new paint soon, currently guards red which is a great color, just thought a little change would be nice.

Very nice! So, do you have any dyno #'s yet?

Oh, and if I may take some artistic license:

Sounds like a very fast car. I like the look of the f/g turbo tail.

The problem with dropping the height to the point that Eric C portrays, is that the suspension geometry gets screwy and the car is can't aligned properly. At this point I can give you about a $2000 series of reasons and explainations why that is too low. See my attached picture. Stay with a Euro ride height or maybe a shade under. This is aside from the fact that you cannot get a jack underneath Front or Rear and Scrape on everything! My current understanding from Steve Weiner and others is that as the palm of your hand is slid into the wheel well, across the tire edge, the back of your hand should touch the wheel panel arch. In expensive retropsect, this seems about right.
regards,
Steve

Yeah, I think we can all agree that that is too low, sorry. It was a quick photo-chop for dramatic effect.

Here's a better rendition:

Very nice intercooler, I like how the inlet comes into the middle of the flow path, the right way. Did you make it?

Thanks guys for all the comments, dropping the car is in the future plans, as far as the intercooler goes, it was made by the boys at AMS (automotosports). They usually work on dsm's but my bro works there so they made an exception, the welds are gourgous and thier head fabricator is awsome, made the whole turbo kit actually.

Very nice looking car and nice colour as well. I agree with others that it could benefit from a lowered suspension. Perhaps there's a limit as too how low you make it, but that has its practical reasons too. High curbs, speed bumps etc.

However we must not forget that Porsche itself built the Euro 911 Carrera CS which was 5 cms lower than the contemporary Carrare 3,2 model. So 5 cms of lowering should be realistic (and enough to make the car look great).
