				 | Holy Cr@#!! Its lower
Hey guys. just got done with the first attempt at lowering the SC. Except for the p/s ride height bolt that wouldn't budge, it was pretty straightforward. I know I need to do some more adjustments, but it sure looks tough like this. I set my plates in the middle so that I should be able to dial her up a bit tomorrow night. 23.5 right now. I think 24 will be just about right. Thanks to all those that helped me from previous posts. Wayne

Forgot a before pic. I can barely fit my index finger between the tire and fender lip is the reason i want to raise it a little. Seems a little close to be safe. Thanks for the comments.

Back is a bit too low vs. front - lower the front a bit & grit your teeth ;-) or raise the rear a bit Craig @RS REALLY low - full track setup yikes on the street

That's 23.5"? Looks higher than that. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely an improvement, but it's not too low. I agree w/ Craig911--It can still go a little lower in front. Mine is 0.25" below Euro spec all 4 corners. Mike '86 | ||

Wayne, it sure looks good at that rear height. But you have very little suspension travel left. The lowest I would go for a street car with standard spindle height is 24.5 / 25 assuming stock diameter tires and struts (even this is a stretch) Lower than this and you are hurting the front geometry pretty badly. And you'll be announcing your arrival on steep driveways.

If your suspension is close to stock, it looks a little too low in the rear to me. I lowered mine for the first time wearing a set of 17" cup wheels on a stock SC to what looks like the same height and had rubbing issues. Couldn't get enough negative camber to get rid of it, so I raised the car half inch in the rear and it fixed the problem. Looks cool though!
