WEVO Shift Coupler

I am amazed the difference installing the WEVO shift coupler has made. There is almost no slop in the shifter, I can up/down shift with ease (no more forcing the shift lever into 2nd gear). Gear placement feels much more precise. In general I'm glad I spent the money for this upgrade. (I replaced the bushings in the shifter and "blueprinted" the shift adjustment prior to installing the new coupler.).

Sweet Alan, I'm glad you like the results. It didn't take much to break my OEM bushing & I wasn't about to spend $80 on another. Glad I installed one myself. It doesn't make my shifting "CRUNCH" proof if I try to rush too much, but it does make things alot smoother. Are you gonna pony up the 6 large for the shifter?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "large" equal to a thousand dollars?

How difficult was the install? Any pics? How long did it take for just the coupler install?

Moazam--

Coupler install was easy(even for me!). Followed directions in 101 projects and the tech article on this board. First time (i tried to replace the bushings in the original coupler) it took 1 hr. Installing the wevo was a snap--30 minutes to remove carpet, access coupler, replace and adjust. (used a 13mm box wrench and socket--I rate the job as a 2 for a first timer, 1-putting air in tires, 10 rebuilding a 915.

Sorry,I didn't take pix.
