High RPM miss

I was out for a ride in my '79 930. I developed a slight miss - sort of a shudder at higher RPM's.

I could not reproduce the symptoms with any one action. The miss always came above 4k RPM and always under acceleration - but sometimes it came at 5,500 or 6,000.

I am thinking CD box - but wonder what else I should think about.

I had a high RPM miss that was due to a bad rotor. The tip of the rotor was wearing the plating off. Once I changed it....no more miss.

Check for wobble in your dzzy shaft......
