In case you were wondering if you needed an AC Hydraulic Jack... Found this pic from my archives. In and out of the truck in one swoop. -Wayne http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1086644334.jpg |

Yeah, but if you lowered the truck and added sway bars, then put on low profile tires, gave it a significant rake, then,,,um,,,well,,,never mind. |

What is really strange, at first glance that fan looks like it is moving. Tom |

A Porsche powered Pathfinder! How cool is that? Did you decide that would be a better engine swap than a Ferarri? |
|
Nice jack but the method looks scary. How did you get it onto the jack and balanced? -Chris |

Hmmm, the way Porsche should have built the Cayenne? |
|
First of all, I would have liked to have seen the Cayenne built like the 1st generation Hummers - a vehicle designed for it's purpose with no compromises. Instead they designed a soccer mom car that goes fast. I got the engine out of the truck by myself using the jack and a folding table as a ramp. Worked reasonably well. With one person steadying the engine, you can simply pull it out of the truck, sliding it forward on the rubber mat. -Wayne |

And what, pray tell, is this going into? Or did you just want us to see your jack? |

 That engine looks familiar |

Is that a Ferrari sitting around the corner??? |
