Help finding some gaskest

I am almost ready to reinstall my engine with the freshly rebuilt transmission. I have been doing some research while I wait for my alternator to be rebuilt, and my flywheel to be resurfaced. I think I need to replace the crank case breather gasket, and engine thermostat o-ring. I forgot to order these when I made my massive pelican order for the transmission parts. These gaskets together come to $5.00, which is less than the shipping will cost. On top of that, I get my flywheel and alternator back tomorrow, and want to start putting the engine back in tomorrow night. Also checked the local P-car dealership and it will take at least five days for them to get the parts in. On top of that, they want at least double the price for each piece. Can I just use high temp silicone gasket material, or cut a custom paper gasket for the breather, and get a generic o-ring at the hardware store? IF so, what size o-ring, and what type gasket material should I use? I am also thinking about replacing the breather hose since the engine is out. I was thinking generic radiator hose would work for that, any thoughts on this?

Paper gasket for the breather housing works, especially with silicon.
I don't know about the oring.
