1/4 mile times?
i've searched but can not find a definate answer.
anybody know what a 1982 porsche 911 sc targa with the 3.0 motor pretty much stock would run in the quarter mile?? thanks.... |

I have all the old Road and track, motor trend, etc from the late 70's to early 80's, mainly on the turbos. But, I found a full page of specs on the 1984 carrera from Motor Trend, May 1984.. 0-60 mph 5.9 sec. 0-80 9.87, qtr mile 14.41/97.4 mph. Top speed 146 mph, drag coef, .40 skidpad .87 g. weight 2712 lbs . weight to hp ratio 13.56 lb/hp. Brian

You can't find it because it isn't important. The 911 is generally not a car you take drag racing. You take it on a race track with curves and that's what it was built for!
