nope, I just bought it...I sent them a bogus check for 20,000 and had them wire me the difference...

it's either a typo or a scam...there is a '90 C4 that was $13000 as well, I e-mailed back/forth and asked questions...and noticed it was strange...like more than one person answering the same e-mail...one could type the other was HORRIBLE...

I wanted their phone number and got some weird, I'm out of the country bit and this is my spouses who died...and I don't have a phone, and blah, blah, blah...

I told them no one is stupid enough to fall for this scam and that I was reporting them to yahoo motors and the Internet Fraud Division...guess what? no more e-mails from them...

crooks are everywhere...

Has to be a scam. There is no way this could be for real....I really feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to fall for something like this.

Reminds me of the story from the 60's about a women running an ad for an almost new XKE asking $100. When the buyer asked why she was selling she replied that her husband had run off with his secretary and was now asking her to "sell the E and wire him the money" which was exactly what she intended on doing.

I think a lot of people purposely do that as kind of a bait-n-switch and/or exposure tactic. Call them up and I'll bet they'll say something like "Oh sorry must be a typo, it is really 110,000 (not 11,000), must have left off a zero by accident".
