Is it normal for my airbag light take 2-3mins to go off after motor running?

Mine never goes off.... or on for that matter... wait.... I don't have an airbag...

In all seriousness, it doesn't sound right - my "modern" airbag-equipped cars have the lights go out nearly immediately. I'd check with the 993 folk on their board for a better answer.
