1st start, 2.7, PMO, E, SSI

for friends who have been following my act.

New cams had to be taken serious at 1st start imo.. The e-cams were both timed equal twords max advance. that sounded ok. The carbs are set very basic twords rich so as just to keep this thing from blowing up for the cam break-in.. it's still running. [it's been down since early august]. I used 30w non-detergent cause if it's good enough for the rings it's good enough for me. so wtf.. anyway very nice crude results. I'm hoping to use the CHT/EGT computer to assist in having 6 ir carbs create equal +-50deg EGTs. The display shows a 6 bar graph and dig numbers within +-2%.
cool

Sounds great, Ron!!!

You can always go to 'S' or GE-60 cams later with those RS pistons riding comfortably in their Nikasils ... after building a Donohue-geared 915 transaxle like the one charted below!

thanks for the chart.. not exactly the gearing I that I was thinking about for my rides. I want to feel out what I have now.. then maybe tweak per the torque curve..

Jim.. gearing is life. your RS eng will be alive with selected gearing for what you want to do. If you have a favorate track? that's your envelope imo.
