Who in Sant Cruz gets to touch your...
rims ?
Who do you trust in the Santa Cruz area to mount tires on your Fuchs? My early sixes are way to important to me to get all beat up. Boy I've seen quite a few nice looking early 911 cars lately too on "OUR" side of the hill. Nice silver 72T; Burgandy 73E; Green Metallic, couldn't catch the year; Ivory, couldn't catch up to him on 17 on the way home from work two weeks ago. Burgandy S, think it was a 70-71. Can't wait to get mine running to join the fun! Cheers,

no can't edit the subject that shows up in the forum after the fact. Descriptive titles are appreciated, though. Santa Cruz in the title would help since nobody else can help you.

Hello Michael, I just picked up my first 911 (a red '86 coupe, no wing), so I hope to see you around some time.
I'm interested in the answer as well. Costco works fine for my old Honda beater commute car, but not the Fuchs. If I hear of a good shop I'll let you know. Al |

Costco can mount tires on your Fuchs carefully if you stand there and watch them. That's what I did and saved myself a bundle.

My brother in law works at Sears on 41st in the tire shop and I know a few of the guys there. We are pretty close so if you like both you and I can take the wheels and tires in there and watch over the guys and they will do a good job.
I live on the west side so give me a call or pm or something if you are interested. Or if you just want to hang and talk porsche's because I could use a porsche pick-me-up. David 588-6010
