I've seen those rims before! They were big in the 70's on muscle cars and z cars. Last edited by niner11; 06-19-2004 at 03:53 PM.. |

When I found some for the Z they were going for anywhere from 140.00 to 200.00 for a set on Ebay. Deeper offsets are worth more. Good luck

They are probably not original for Porsche. They could be custom drilled however. The Porsche bolt pattern is 5 on 130MM circle. There are very few cars that share this bolt pattern.
I do remember these wheels. Mostly in chevrolet bolt patterns. 5 holes on 4 3/4" early and 5 on 5" patterns later. I remember these wheels advertised as GYRO's. (that was the model name. I can't remember the manufacturer.) Good luck, David Duffield |

One of the more common names was "shelby" made by american. I have seen several sets that look identical but had made by different manufacturers.

Those aren't Wolfrace. The Wolfrace had a distinctive shape to the holes. They were much higher quality as well. The main OEM application for the Wolfrace was on the series one Esprit in 77. They actually looked cool on that car. I love the clean look of the series one.

That style wheel was very common back in the late 60's and 70's. Many manufacturers made them. Usually they were referred to as slotted mags. ET, Cragar, American Racing, et al made them. The bolt pattern may indeed be for Porsche, but it would be very unusual. They're probably for an American car.

these are Ansens. Believe or not my '67 911 had these on when I bought it in 1971. They were not as wide as the ones you show. Offset was terrible. I'll try to dig up a picture somewhere...
