UK Pelicans - Snetterton Track Day?
Hi All,
I've finally plucked up the courage to do my first track day. It's a novices day at Snetterton in Norfolk with bookatrack: http://www.bookatrack.com/-pB?467 Anyone else fancy it? Cheers, Tim.

Hi Soup,
I think it's about the going rate, don't forget it's an open pit lane all day session, so hopefully lots of seat time! Cheers, Tim.

I would but I'm not a total novice anymore
£175 is about the going rate for trackdays now, you can do some good value "airfield" days for around £100 for open pit lane I've done a couple with MSE Trackdays and would recomend them.Couldnt see anything on the Bookatrack link about tution but I would recommend getting at least 15mins in as early in the day as possible just to give you a bit more confidence and to show what the car is capable of. Not sure about snetterton, but as you know, brake fade is a bit of a problem at most tracks with these early cars so fresh fluid is a must. When you get hooked keep me in mind next time you book.

Hi Kev,
I've rebuilt all the brakes over the last couple of years, have new hoses/discs/EBC Green pads/ATE Blue fluid, so hopefully should be OK! I think I read somewhere that first-timers would get a short session with an experienced driver. I'll let you know how I get on! Cheers, Tim.

Hi Brian,
I'm glad you can't come then, it's my first time, don't want too many people watching me f**k up!! ![]() Definitely see you at Walton Hall. I'll be parked up on the DDK stand. Cheers, Tim.

not a bad line up heh ?
I'm sure they only built about 4 968 Turbo S's If I had a car worth taking... I'd be there in a shot. The great thing is (with the track days I've been to at least) that everyone is really friendly and everyone wants a ride in everyone elses cars. I'm sure you can get a ride some of the other Porsches and give us some feedback on what the 964RS is like. Have fun.
