Enzo #2? Its ugly. I'd take a Carrera GT anyday over it. And a normal 911 is far cooler than an Enzo because it is a real production car, not super exotic, that provides more than adequite performance.

Gallardo is cooler than the Diablo? No way. It certainly hasn't proved it.

I like that the 911 made the list twice, #5 and #21.

Is that Mini Cooper S a new one or the original?

Not a single Japanese car? I find that kind of strange beign that Japan has had and still does have some very memorable cars.

In my opinion -

Origional 300 Twin Turbo Z
Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

I know I know, they are not European or American, but I think at least 1 Japanese car deserves a mention.

Toyota 2000GT.

The Bugatti Royale and Type 57 are not "cool" cars to the point of being in the top 50?

I'd like to see the rest. There are a lot missing. A Jenson of any kind can't be ahead of some cars I can think of. What about the venerable Jeep CJ? The VW Thing and the VW convertable?

Where's the Ferraro GTO? 250SWB? 206 Dino? The pig Jensen Interceptor cooler than any Porsche? Citroen DS? A blind man with a bingo hopper could do better.

There should definately be a Z car of some sort on there (IMHO the original 1970 240Z or the 300ZX Twinturbo), also no Lotus of any kind on that list is sort of pathetic as well. There should definately either be a 7 or an Espirit on there.

I have owned 6 of the 50 at one time or another (and I saw a 300SL gullwing driving past my house this morning, kinda like sleeping in a Holiday Inn Express last night !).

Hey, don't dis the DS I think it's a very cool car, and part of what puts a car on the list is cultural associations and I think some cool tv characters drove it. Int eh US, all we got was Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod (European eps) and Rupert Giles, Watcher (before he bought the Bimmer). Good enough for them, good enough for me.

Enzo as number 2? What were they smoking. No speed potential will get one past the questionable styling. And to top it off, place it ahead of a Miura?

well, it was faster than the Murcielago on Topgear
that's pretty cool in my book

and it's definately a good looking car, i think it's nicer than the Murc...

F ENZO number 2 > that's load of BS
i'll agree that Ferrari has rights to a very high position
but not with that fiber glass piece of fugly

if one Ferrari should get that spot, it should be this puppy

I was surprised at the Enzo, but I agree the Gallardo's a comer: Lambo performance with a dash more sensibility/practicality.
