whells

Personally I like them. What make/brand/size and how much?

masraum 06-25-2004 09:35 AM

The other wheels would probably lighter than those which is better for acceleration and handling, but those look darn good.

OldGuy 06-25-2004 09:35 AM

I like those ALOT

CarreraS2 06-25-2004 09:39 AM

That's a good looking WHEEL.

Looks kinda like the Speedlines that came on some of the '90s Turbos.

Overpaid Slacker 06-25-2004 09:40 AM

Are they the RH 3.6 Turbo wheels?

I found them on E-bay, Here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7906511856&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Nice. I like them.

}{arlequin 06-25-2004 10:14 AM

Those are great. They belong on these cars as much as Fuchs.

azasadny 06-25-2004 10:17 AM

BOBCOHEN,

How about these?

I think they are really good looking wheels.
I would have prefered them over the Folger whells I bought a couple of months ago. I see a lot of germans use them. They came as OEM from speedline and aftermarked from RH. I do not know the weights, but since they are 3 pc. my guess is that they are not that bad.
The speedline has text on outer rim saying "SPEEDLINE FOR PORSCHE" like in above link to guy in Switzerland. The prize seems pretty high, it better be speedlines, otherwise way to expensive.

techweenie 06-25-2004 11:10 AM

They are beautiful wheels, but they are not particularly light.

Either the Kinesis or Fikse will be substantially lighter as well as quite a bit less expensive.

BOBCOHEN 06-25-2004 11:50 AM

I guess my question now is where can i get GH wheels for short money?

BOBCOHEN 06-25-2004 11:52 AM

RH.....sorry

Rufblackbird 06-25-2004 04:21 PM

They're the same ones my friend and local PCA VP bought off of ebay and put on his 930. They look absolutely amazing in person!

Just to be different, I dont like them.... I much prefer the Fikse, 17" Fuchs, or anything that looks more "racing inspired". Those look like a fashion statment to me. I like my wheels to be function first and have a fat lip.

Either way, $3900 is too much for 3.6 Turbo Speedline replicas IMO.

Here's a 930 w/ 18" FM-10's for comparison:

bigrubberjeep 06-25-2004 05:16 PM

18"s? Damn those look huge!

Erick, did you ever find a M491?

OldGuy 06-25-2004 08:13 PM

Wow, that is 110% of the USDA recommended daily allowance of bling!

Those are not wheels, or not even "rims," but "rah - eeeeeee - ms!"
