No emergancy flashers or turn signals?

They just went dead. Everything else works just cant get them to work. Checked all the fuses, relays and even jiggled the emergancy flasher unit. Wife said it happened when she drove it 2 weeks ago while I was hunting in her Jeep. She now hates my car. Afraid it will break and cost thousands to fix. I did have to re-glue the rear view mirror ($2.95). Any ideas on the turn signal/emergancy flasher issue? 911 81 SC.

Thanks

Check you turn signal switch, and the headlight switch.
mine get lose or something, after messing with those switchs, I found that my light came back on.

Since both the emergency flasher and turn signals are out, it is most likely the flasher (there is no relay except inside the flasher).

Do your brake lights worK? Also, do you have a voltmeter of test light to check the power to the flasher?

Fixed it! Thanks again to the BB. It was the relay loose inside the trunk up behind the carpet to the right of the brake fluid resevoir. Jiggled it and they work again! I really rely on you guys and this BB becuase nobody in this town of 13,000 does work on Porsche's except me (and I aint touchin the other guys porche's. I think he has a 1995 and a 1960's 356) .

Found it on a search and looked for it and there it was.

Now I just need courage for the upcoming valve adjust this spring.
