How do you? and what type of cleaner do you use for K&N air filters?

barclay, go to a motorcycle store or hell a car parts place and buy the filter cleaner kit. comes with a cleaner and a can of oil spray.

take out filter, spray on cleaner, let is sit, hose off with water. go from the backside of filter out. you dont want to let the water blow the grime into the filter, just out. then let it dry naturally, air dry. you can swing your arms about holding the filter to help it along. then spray the oil on, evenly, and reinstall the sucker. i bet the box will have better instructions. but i got the jist of it.

The best way is to burn it...

I use a bucket and dish cleaning soap. dunking it up and down and change the water out till it is clean. Air dry and don't use high pressure air.
