914/6 Fuel Pump Install ?
I have never picked up on the info to convert the feed of the 914/6 fuel pump to my tank discharge. I figured it's routine.
The tank discharge is a noticably larger diameter than the 914/6 intake diameter. The 3/8in Gates fuel line fits the pump fine.. But the 3/8in is stretched thin to the tank discharge, but in can be installed. So far I don't like the routine. I'll get a marine 3/8 tomorrow if that is the bottom line in using the 3/8in. The marine fuel line wall is 2X as thick. So am I missing something on this ?

Ron, I used 3.8" hose too. its tight since its slightly smaller than the 10mm metric equivilent. (0.393" vs. 0.375") pelican has the metric hose. I don't think the reinforced hose will have any problems stretched out a bit.
That's a great pump. The Bosch rotorary will run forever.
