Putting it back together

I have replaced my tie rods, ball joints, bushings, etc. I have an alignment scheduled but want to know of any tricks in eyeballing an alignment so I can get to the shop.

I measured my old tie rods (non turbo) against my new (turbo) but I am not sure it looks ok.

Any other suggestions?
Chris

Do a search there are good directions here for doing an alignment at home. I recently did the same improvements and just measured with a tape across the thread to roughly set the toe as well as camber. It worked so well they only made a slight change to the back and drove fairly well to the shop.

Good Luck

Get a 4-5 ft long piece of wood and place it across the wheel and see how the piece of wood is pointed in relation to the door/body. Adjust until it looks about right and drive to the shop.
