Add another 3.6 conversion to the list:

1977 911S
1997 3.6 Varioram engine
Factory 993 heat exchangers with Triad muffler

Link to my conversion project/progress thread

Heat routing for Triad muffler

Dyno results (with video link)

(the only engine pic I had handy was before everything was finalized)

1973 911E originally, came to me with a stock 1980 3.0 SC engine and tranny already in it. I upgraded the suspension and added RS bits and ran it for a couple of years until I had a mis-shift at WSIR and bent valves. Swapped in a 3.4 based on a 3.2 case and crank with new 98mm Mahle Sport 10.3:1 pistons and cylinders, Carrillo racing rods, special "Otto-grind" WebCams, Aase Bros. racing valve springs, and PMO 50mm carbs. Put 930 brakes on it and rebuilt the 915 with billet intermediate plate and GT diff.

I bought my '81SC with a stuffed motor and had to do the rebuild with very little knowledge. My build is documented here www.adelgigs.com/911enginerebuild.htm

Enjoy.

Imported to the SF bay area from AZ. It took a while to get the coilovers sorted by it's working well now...

I don't consider this a hotrod...but oh well.

'72 911T Targa w/ '78 California SC motor, K&N filter , 964 turbo look...that's all I know. Plans for a backdate and conversion to Speedster with MFI motor in the works...well...as soon as I pay off the car first.
