Show me your early cars with fiberglass!
I am thinking about putting fiberglass bumpers and maybe a ducktail on my 67. I would love to see some pictures of early cars (especially SWB) with fiberglass. Help me convince my girlfriend this needs to be done! Thanks -kris

I've got some pics of my early car with fiberglass here:
911 engine swap roll call On the 2nd and 3rd page. I think steel is "nicer", and it has the advantage that you can "roll" it out a little bit if you need a little extra clearance for your tires. The glass is light. The choice between light and nice will depend on the car. I really like light. All the fenders, hood and bumpers are glass on my car, and I’m still looking for weight... |

I've been thinking more and more about going Glass or Carbon fiber doors, hood and fenders. Anyone have any thoughts? Do the carbon fiber peices any better or any worse than Fiberglass?
