Spring Plates - Interchangeability

Hello,

Does anyone know if the factory adjustable rear spring plates from an '88 Carrera will fit a '70 911 Coupe? I thought I read somewhere that the spring plates are the same from '65 - '86, but were changed for '87 and beyond.

Same question for rear sway bars. What years are direct bolt-on interchangeable?

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

JA

No, they wont fit as the t-bars in the G-50 Carreras are longer and the t-bar tubes on the spring plates are longer to accomodate. If you fit longer t-bars then, yes.

Best to go with a little earlier car for a donor - then it's a common upgrade. I used a '77 I think. Anything before 87 shold work fine.
