bra for a longhood

I'm mulling over the idea of a bra (for the car). Any of you guys have pics of what they look like on the early cars? What different types are out there? I'm not going for the style points or protection, but rather something that would hinder the radar guns on long trips. (I'm not looking into the clear/3M stuff)

Here is mine with the standard bra. I have the 3M stuff too but have decided not to install it. Not sure how this would hinder radar guns...I only use this when going on longer trips, or to car shows. Keeps the bug mess to a minimum.
