2.7 & Bursch headers
OK what's the trick to getting these headers on? I don't want to force them, but it doesn't feel like everything lines up. Are they supposed to just slide on the studs or is it normal that the install may take a little extra effort to make them fit.

My car had Bursch headers on it (on a 2.4). There were several crimps in the tubing where it looked like they'd been tweaked to make them fit. I think they may just be crap.

I bought a used set (assuming you are talking the 3 into 1's) from a fellow Pelican that were in great shape, no crimps, bend dents etc. It took a little persuading to get them to fit. They went on tightly, but once they went on they fit well and I haven't encountered any issues.

I installed a used pair and found that the fit was very tight. I took the old handy dandy rat tail file and opened up the mounting holes just a little and everything went together fine.

Thanks, it sounds like they just need a little persauding (duct tape, hammer, a few beers, some swearing...they'll fit.
