Fuel deivery problem
When the car is running I'm getting alot and I mean alot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. It reminds me of a blown head gasket, there is so much smoke. It use to be just a little at start up, then it would be occasional, now it is constant. One other thing, there is quite a bit of what looks to be condensation while running and even after the motor is shut down coming from the oil breather hose. Its quite a bit. Any ideas?

Unless someone has filled the tank with H2O, that white smoke is probably bluish-white, yes? If so, that's oil.
A common cause is an oil tank that's overfilled. The extra oil gets pushed into the air filter housing where it gets sucked into the engine and reburned. You also might have a valve guide seal that's torn or a valve guide(s) that are worn that allow excess oil to be burned. Sherwood http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars |
