Some pics from yesterdays track-event (ADSL only)
As I mentioned before, friend and I went to biggest Swedish track (yet, another is being buildt) called Mantrop with his GT3.
It was interesting group of cars, F550 Maranello, F355, P944 Turbo, BMW Z3 M, P993 Cup, P996TT Gemballa CTR550, P996TT Techart, P996 GT3 CS, Audi RS4 x 2, Nissan Skyline R-33 and handfull of super-tuned street cars. There was probably no car with less than 300bhp. Some of them had 500+. Reason to this happening is that friendly guy (with one of those rally Audi Quatros) that I know from one streetracing-forum i'm moderator at (Zatzy.com) rented whole track for a day to test his cars and invited bunch of us car-nuts to join him. His quattro (pic by Jimmy): ![]() Inside of Quattro: Quattro IMSA engine (should be around 600hp, didn't go well: Big brakes on Audi RS4: No ABS and lot's of power does this: GT3 we came with and Maranello (pic by Jimmy): ![]() Some action from GT3 chasing Maranello: http://project911.luminasweden.com/temp/ferrarijakt.avi Hard clash between well driven Z3M and GT3 (pic by Jimmy): ![]() Red one in middle is beautifull Gemballa with Gazzilion horsepowers: Good looking 993 Cup, stripped from everything ex factory: 993 Cup in anger: http://project911.luminasweden.com/temp/ferrarijakt.avi Quattro in anger: http://project911.luminasweden.com/temp/urquattro.avi GT3 on long straight: http://project911.luminasweden.com/temp/gt3driveby.avi All in all, wonderfull day. We (actually I ![]() Track-racing is addictive! GT3 is one helluva car. It's not aircooled but who cares. It goes like stink!

I just realized what's written on the side of the Audi. Dahlback. Isn't this the guy that built the ~900hp Golf? Full CF, where the rear seat used to be he put a muffler.... that car was CRAZY!

Just came back from the sea! Yupp, Hans Dahlbäck is the guy who built the Audi. He built it before Golf, engine is more or less identical. Hans was actually invited to this event but couldn't make it. About the Golf, both track times and horsepower figures for Golf are considered by most "insiders" in Sweden to be grossly exaggerated. It's a cool and quick car (I saw it many times) but I doubt it has 900hp.
