Fiberglass Door Problems.
I am trying to mount some glass doors and the wholes in the doors (for bolting the hinge to) do not seem to line up with the hinge. I can only get 2 out of the 3 bolts in them... Even then, they are in the wrong angle to fit into the hinge mounted on the car itself.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do? Here are some pictures of the doors and hinges. ![]() ![]()

Where did you get the doors from? Fiberglass products have a somewhat checkered past when it comes to fit, so the manufacturer would be critcal here. Are they new?
You could also have an issue with the 'A' door pillar (mounting point for hinge) on your car. Has it ever been wrecked and repaired?

Never wrecked or repaired. I think I will need to drill out the holes in the hinges to make them larger and have more room for movement. Then I might be able to get them in. We will see.
I think the doors are from Rennspeed or AIR.... yes they are new.

Sorry, I can't help. My doors came with the lower hinge installed and I made my own holes for the upper hinge.
you may have to consider redrilling them in the correct location. Start by mounting the hinge that brings the door into as close of alignment as possible. Then check to see if the other is high/low or other. I would suggest making a plate on the backside that is thesame dimensions as the hinge. This will help dist. the load and prevent cracking, especially if you redrill new holes.
