Porsche Crest Submittal for valuation: 1977 Targa

I don't know if Wayne is still doing these valuations, but here are pics and specs on my car (just got it running), and I'd like cheers and jeers from you guys-
(Please not too much about the ride height, I'm working on that!!)
I have no desire to sell it, but would like to have an estimated worth.

1977 911'S' Targa
Weber 40IDA conversion, Pertronix ignitor, Carrera tensioners
No idea of mileage, newer (previously rebuilt) engine in car...

Looks like it's been re-painted (targabar painted) and also has the 7"/8" Fuchs for the flares. It really depends on who did the re-build and the receipts to go along with it. It might fetch 8-11k depending on history and if you have facory items (seats, steering wheel ect.). I have the same year and have all the stock items (except 7"rears & 2.7 engine) and I paid 10k a couple years ago and it had a 3.2 installed with 110,000 miles back in "01. YMMV

wheels are not fuchs actually. If you don't have any docs on the car or motor, not much unfortunately...

Bought my 76 a year ago for $8K and I probably paid to much. It is a targa with SC flares (similar to your car) and the original 2.7 that was rebuilt at some point, but without documentation. I would guess yours would be in the $6-8K range.

Porsche Crest

Thanks guys, yeah without known mileage or rebuild paperwork, and the fact that it started out life factory blue, I could not expect too much...

It sure runs nice though! The wheels are BBS, but looks rough. I have a set of perfect cookie cutters too.

JP911, sounds like we have similar cars, do you have pics?? What all have you done to it? TTYL-
