choice of turbos for twin turbo application

l`m all over the place with my turbo conversion, already bought a turbo but the mere word "twin" has me going.l`ve got the opportunity to buy two Mitsu 13g`s within my budget, low miles and seem to be in good shape. l know about used turbos but are these sized well for my 3.2 application? l think they are. They`re an upgrade for the Stealth guys from what l understand and are the stock turbo on the autotrans Talon/Eclipse which is a 2.0. These have the built in wastegate and this seems like a timesaver but has anyone else run this system before? lt seems that everyone goes with the external wategate(s).The turbos are water/oil cooled but l`d forget the water initially, perhaps plumbing a simple recirc system at a later date.Any thoughts appreciated. This twin idea would allow me to mount each turbo right to the header flange with milled adapter plates and in some ways simplify the conversion.Any thoughts appreciated,as always

i would have thought that they would be a little on the large side for a 3.2? :D

13g are quite well matched for twin application on 3.2 engine. Don't worry about the wastegates, there's nothing wrong with built-in ones as they save weight and reduce complexity.

You must have some sort of simple recirculating water system though. It might be as easy as small pump and trans oil cooler.

thanks Beep,l was hoping you`d chime in here.Okay then it`s a go,my plan will be to use the VW coolant recirc pump and mount a trans cooler somewhere...but where.l might use the fenderwell with a small fan,or possibly in the tail.l`ve got a 993 twin turbo tail thats been custom molded to fit my car and seems to have plenty of room for intercooler,A/C and perhaps now the turbo rad.

Yupp. They have ~2600 RPM boost treshold on 2.0L engine so you might expirience full boost around 3300 or such. As long as you keep your revs over that they should spool up quite quickly.

Make sure they have same base boost (WG tension), it's quite hard to synchronize them on TT application. Unsymetric boost is also hard to diagnose.
