Eric - Beautiful '75! I also have a '75 (not nearly as nice as yours) with the factory top. +1 on listing this here on Pelican.

Does anyone know how to contact this person "SAYD" from the Louisville area? He has not been on the forum for years and no contact info on record. I have his old '77 targa now.

My 1976 Stock 911S with the usual 2.7 engine upgrades. Nothing like cruising the Swedish countryside in a Targa. Just need to keep a watch out for the Moose

Laps Inc. No ducktail! So much cleaner without. Unless you are on track racing ducktail is only for show IMHO :-)
BTW Very nice!!!

Blove911, Laps took off a turbo (whale) tail or carrera tail. A duck tail looks like this:

It's your car, so do what you like for the tail. Finding another engine lid with a ducktail would allow you to easily swap it out if you change your mind.

I personally love te lines of the Targa without a tail, and after 40 years of Porsche ownership, I don't race around as much so would have no need for additional downforce.

Damn Shawn! That is a whole lot prettier than the cell phone pic you showed me last weekend. Hope to see it in the flesh soon!
It was great meeting you at the Fuelfed CC.
