My favorite "911 moments" have been intensified immeasurably by open motoring. Targas ROCK!

Here's 'Stinky'. She sat in storage for 16 years or so before jpnovak and another local enthusiast found her. They intended to part her out, then sell me the tub so I could patch my coupe... but Stinky is so solid, that we all thought it would be better for me to just take it and fix it up. When I first got my coupe, I really didn't like Targas... but man, they grew on me. I'm gonna make Stinky into a real nice driver!
![]() 15x7 repro fuchs on ![]() Took the Recaros out of the coupe ![]() I'm a convert. I'm gonna love this car... I already do, and I'm getting excited about getting her driveable. A couple more weeks and she should be on the street. Many projects will remain to be done, but she will be driveable.

Thinking about a nice warm summer day in my 72E almost makes me forget that it's a cold November day here in the Northeast.
Have a good Thanksgiving, everyone.

Here's my '87, my first Porsche... Didn't really go Targa shopping, but wouldn't have it any other way now. Love it!

What years did they make the soft rear window Targa's? And did they make them in all 3 models T, E & S?

So many nice Targas!
But too few yellow ones!
I still grin when I step out in the garage too! Here's my baby... ![]() Taken prior to full polish on the wheels, lowering and top recover.
