I like the traditional look too but like the 'polished' look of the first picture better.....

Tires for arbita1, Matt

Matt, I bought Toyo Proxes, they have an aggressive tread pattern and corner great. Fronts for my car are 205/55ZR16, rears are 225/50ZR16. Here is a picture of the tread pattern. Good luck on your tire choice !

I've got some Hankook RS-2s in the same sizes you stated above on order. Supposed to be good autox tires. I'm going to try them out.

Andre,
What a nice surprise and yes I remember your co-pilot. I love the headroom the Targa gives. It will eventually replace the coupe all together. My kids love the Targa. When given a choice they always pick the Targa for joy rides so the coupe sits alone in the garage.
Happy New Year
I guess you were a good influence

By the way...any idea what the offset of those wheels are? I've looked on the back but I can't find anything that says ET...?

Matt,(arbita1)

Mike, Per your question about the offset, where can I find out that info you requested? On my sales receipt it said:
16x7 ROH ZS 5:130 +28
16x8 ROH ZS 5:130 +11

Hope this helps, John

I have to add mine. I have wanted a Targa for years and last month finally got one. Maybe I'm lucky because mine doesn't seem to squeak or leak, but it seems to me to be the best of both worlds.

"doesn't seem to squeak or leak"

A Targa that doesn't squeak is driven by a man with no ears!

Maybe "rattle" is a better word....:-)
