If that rear glass is tinted, it looks great with the black paint.

JTILDEN I will elaborate.
I tore my car apart last oct-nov and have been creating a RSR targa
complete with 1973 backdate. The car has a 3.2 swtiched to webers and is a 1978.
The project is nearing completion and with the reinstall of the oil cooler I took it on a victory lap of my neighborhood. look under my post the answer to the question never asked rsr tatga for a full build chronicle packed with photos. When I started it looked like this.

1986 Targa

I just updated mine with new front and rear bumpers. Any suggestions on paint? I leaning toward Yellow or Black. Any suggestions?

^^It's your car, but I'm not a fan of re-painting a 911 a different color. It is like a permanent black eye.

As others have said, I think Targas capture the best of both worlds.
