Saw this on Ebay Here:

http://cgi.msn.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10156&item=2483435665&rd=1

Check ou the oil cooler on top of the motor!!!

New?

Efficacy may be a question when adding that heat to the top the engine bay.

Is a pretty cool car.

Not to hijack the thread..but Anderson's performance book makes mention how all street 911's push oil through the scavange side of the pump..a very ineffecient way to cool..requiring physicaly large oil coolers. He says racing Porsches plumb through the pressure-side circuit...and many have been successful using much smaller helicopter oil coolers. ...not necessary to even plumb to the front of the car.
Any one have more info on this ????

Garage
it probably makes the temp gauge go lower
but i wonder what it does to the cyllinder heads temp wise since it's blowing air through the cooler, turning it into hot air, which in turn heats the engine shroud

also
where does that hot air go after that? the engine bay has only two ways the air can get out

either the engine intake
or the aircooling

either power loss
or cooling loss

bad setup if you ask me

there's a reason why the engine oil cooler uses air from under the shroud as opposed to air from above the shroud
