Clutch Installation: Which washers to use
Simple Question:
I'm getting ready to install the clutch and starter ring and I'm wondering which type of washers to use. I don't know the names of the two types tonight (July 4th parties are clouding my memory), however are the washers the crush washers or the lock washers (type that are cut and deformed and compress as you tighten)? Sorry, but I have my neighborhood coming over tomorrow to help me take it off the stand and bolt the tranny on. Should be starting it up next weekend after I receive a replacement distributer cap after I accidentaly broke if on disassembly and forgot to order a replacement. Michael
