Paint Code
Looking for a paint match for my 83 911 SC, cabrio. My paint code is X6V9 and it is an RoW car. The closest thing I can find and it may be a match is the L661 color "Slate blue metallic clear coat". Anyone have a cross for the X6V9 to confirm?

That letter/number combo seems like a special order paint.
Maybe a copy of the Kardex from Porsche could give you more accurate info.

Did some more Internet searching and found a reference in a porsche club pdf listing the color name as slate metalic blue. Had it matched to 661C at the local automotive shop. Thanks for the responses.

Paint code according to PPG System.
Here is the PPG code and formula for Porsche 661 paint code but in the PPG system the option "C" doesn't appear.
