I was wondering what everyone thinks is the best way to lowering the front end of my 74 911. I want to be as stiff or more stiff than it is now.

To stiffen - you need to put in bigger t-bars. Obviously you need to balance the rear with matching rears as well. Lowering the front is straighforward using the adjuster bolt. Remember that lowering the front will raise the rear so you would need to adjust the rears as well which isn't straightforward unless you have the sway-away adjustable spring plates. Use the search feature and you'll see tons of posts on lowering etc.

Well, I thank you very much. Actually I'm kind of glad that it will raise the rear end a little, because my car sits a little too low in the rear anyway. I do also plan to install new torsion bars relativly soon.

just let the air out of the front tires. It should ride stiff then....and be low too!
