930 No-Start saga continues
All,
My 930 wouldn't start because the new starter I bought from Eagle Auto Electric in Northridge CA spun the engine the wrong way round. A 35 year experienced mechanic spent 16 hours finding this problem, and charged me for 12 of them. A bill of $1000 later, and now the 'friendly' guys at Eagle Auto Electric have told me that apart from exchanging the starter, they are not liable for anything. I beg to differ. If they sell something and it is not fit for this purpose, that makes them liable in my books. Anyone agree/disagree? I will be filing in small claims court I guess... |

When you goto small claims, write time days and who you talked to. Most of all, i know that customers always right. There is a set time that they can bill you, but that is way out of the park....
Wish you luck...... I think what they billed you is wrong. I think they should hold eagle liable. Cause if you think about it, who would ever look for a starter spinner the wrong way, but if he had a tech helping him rotate, noticable from the rear.... |
