Shop space rental...

Would Wayne cosider opening a Porsche Only DIY shop with lifts and Porsche tools for rent? Selling parts to customers and charging daily rates for shop space?

We have a shop with a similar set-up here in SF, but not Porsche specific.

That's an idea I've had for years. I've always thought it would be like a great boys' club, place to hide out from the wife/girlfriend/etc. Like a country club for car nuts.

I'll make sure he's familiar with this thread, but I don't want to say for certain. There's liability issues, and safety precautions. I don't know if our insurance would cover us for something like that. That's probably why I'm having such a hard time finding a place now. I'll send him the link to the theread though, and we'll keep our fingers crossed

It's been done. There are problems just as Jason said. The only way it seems to work is with a limited private group. This was dicussed here way back.
