What is the lever for behind the wiper lever?
I just bought my first 911, its an 87 Targa and I'm curious what the lever behind the wiper level is for? It doesn't appear to do anything.
I'm ordering an owners manual ASAP

Cruise control, but it probably won't work. Mine doesn't. You don't need it anyway.
PS. Where in Iowa? I am 12 miles NE of Iowa City.

Yep, cruise control. There should be a small picture on the dash showing how to work it.

I'm in Maquoketa, 30 miles N of the Quad cities or about 1.5 hrs from you. Are there many Iowans on this board?
